LOCAL WISDOM OF WAYANG KULIT AT CLEAN VILLAGE WELCOME TO RAMADHAN IN HARJOSARI
Abstract
This study aims to determine the aspect of cross-cultural communication that was formed in the performance of the Clean Leather Puppet in Pujakesuma Village and has been dynamically acculturated into local wisdom to welcome the month of Ramadan in Harjosari. The values of dynamic acculturation and local wisdom are found in the ambengan celebration event, where cross-ethnic residents prepare and share ambengan, mutual cooperation events and during wayang kulit performances which can be enjoyed by all residents as an annual agenda in addition to being people's entertainment. The language that occurs or the speech delivered during the preparation and performance period is studied using the focus of anthropolinguistic studies, which include; performance, indexicality and participation. It was found that the use of the Javanese Ngoko (general) language could be understood by all residents, especially Pujakesuma, and the Javanese Krama (subtle) language was spoken by the Community Leaders of Pujakesuma as a form of respect for the residents who attended and participated in the Ambengan feast, especially for the elders of Pujakesuma. In addition to the Javanese language, Krama is used by the Dalang when reading mantras and playing wayang plays until the end of the show
